WELEXTRACT® Fat Grafting

WELEXTRACT® Fat Grafting

Processed Autologous Fat for Precise, Individualized Treatment

Treatment Info

Uses Your Own Fat for Potentially Long-Lasting Volume

Processed for Precise, Layered Placement

Small Entry Points for Detailed Grafting

WELEXTRACT®-processed autologous fat grafting uses a patient’s own harvested fat. The fat is processed within a closed system to remove selected fluid and fibrous tissue and create smaller, more uniform fat particles for precise injection.

The processed fat can be placed in small amounts to address selected hollows, fine lines, scars, or areas requiring subtle volume. Because graft survival varies, the final retained volume is evaluated only after swelling settles and the transferred fat stabilizes.

Note: This procedure is not one of the cell-therapy technologies announced by Taiwan’s Ministry of Health and Welfare, and it should not be described as stem cell therapy.

WELEXTRACT®-Processed Autologous Fat

The WELEXTRACT® system removes selected excess fluid and fibrous material from harvested fat and produces smaller, more uniform fat particles. This allows physicians to use autologous fat for precise volume restoration in selected areas, including hollows, fine lines, under-eye volume loss, and depressed scars. Suitability and expected improvement depend on the underlying cause and tissue condition.

FAQ

What should I do after WELEXTRACT® fat grafting?

Protect the grafted area from strong sun exposure and avoid exfoliation, massage, pressure, or impact until your physician says these are safe. Bruising and swelling can occur at the fat-harvest area and often improve over 1–2 weeks, although recovery varies. For at least two weeks, follow the clinic’s activity instructions, maintain regular sleep, avoid smoking, and attend scheduled follow-up visits. Contact the clinic for worsening pain, marked redness, fever, drainage, skin-color changes, or other concerning symptoms.
